Club 25/Wendler Building, 1984:
This project entailed surveying this historic building, built in 1915, in downtown Anchorage in preparation for its move down Fourth Avenue to a new site. This resulted from the previous owners' wish to have the building removed from the site and the wish of the Municipality of Anchorage to save the building. Mr. Combs worked with the team of Porath Architects to establish guidelines for the restoration of the exterior of the building and for the renovation of the interior.
