1978: While during his Architectural Internship at his first office Sam was assigned the task of completing the “Cold Climate Construction” for the next edition of The American Institute of Architects Ramsey/Sleeper “Architectural Graphic Standards” Seventh Edition ©1981. Sam had just completed the required course of Arctic Engineering to qualify for the Architectural Licensing Exam. On the left is Sam’s submittal to the publishers and on the right is the actual page from the publication. Sam's drawing for Graphic Standards is above with the actual printed page above his drawing.
