Sitka Ranger District New Office Design for the United States Forrest Service, Sitka, Alaska, 2011-2012:
Michael L. Foster & Associates contracted with our firm to renovate and add on to the existing United States Forest Service Warehouse and Shop on their site in Sitka. The design was based on USFS "The Built Environment Image Guide" North Pacific area based on historical precedents. A field survey trip was conducted along with meetings with the USFS in Sitka over a three day period. The Design Team completed 66% of the design whereupon the USFS decided to change directions and hired an out-of-state firm to complete the project with another design.
